ABC Scripture Cards

Have you ever been amazed at how people can pull Bible verses right out of their heads and it's exactly the words that needed to be said?  I wasn't raised in church, and although my mom was a pastor's kid, there was never any emphasis on Scripture study in our house.  But my husband and I are trying to raise our girls in a different way.  And I too want to have God's Words etched onto my heart.

So, this year, we are on a new adventure into learning, studying, and memorizing Scripture.  Every Sunday I do my own personal study, writing out and reflecting on the verse for that week.  Then we work together as a family, reading the words and talking about what they mean.

There are only 26 verses (one for every letter of the alphabet, hence the name ABC...), but 52 weeks in the year.  Depending on how we do, I may start over with new verses halfway through the year.

To download the scripture cards, click the graphic above.  NOTE: When you DOWNLOAD the document, the font will change into the fancy fonts I used, which will also change the layout a little too.  I copied mine onto Kraft Paper to give them a fun look.  Plus, I like the way they look when I put them up in the house too.
