Current Studies

I am usually involved in a few studies at a time.  Some are in small groups, some are online studies, and some are just things I'm doing on my own.  Please find whatever works for you and do it!!!  But here are the studies I am currently doing.  Click on the pictures to head over the the site to learn more about each study.

  • IF:Equip is an online Bible Study that studies one book of the Bible at a time.  You read up to one chapter a day and then listen to 2 of the IF speakers, including Jennie Allen, Jen Hatmaker, and Angie Smith discuss what you just read!  I love the whole IF:Movement and strongly encourage you to check out more about the IF:Gathering that will be happening in February...LIFE CHANGING!!!

  •  She Reads Truth in another online Bible Study that I enjoy.  The authors will either guide you through a book of the Bible or a subject.  You will read the assigned verses and then read the devotion that has been written about what you read.  There are different ways to interact with She Reads Truth, including online through their site, through their App, and even through the Bible App.

  •  The Women's Council at our church is studying the book Restless by Jennie Allen.  Jennie is one of my favorite writers and also the founder of IF.  I have done her Stuck and Chase studies, and they may sound simple, but challenged me to my core!  The tag line of the study says: "Because you were more for more."  I was captivated within the first few pages!  There is a study guide and video tool we will be utilizing as well.

  • My Tuesday mornings are by far my favorite part of the week!  This is when I join with other women from my church and my community in fellowship and Bible Study.  Our leader does a great job of choosing different kinds of studies.  This semester we are going through Angie Smith's Seamless Bible Study.  Angie felt compelled to take on the entire Bible and walk her readers through the one story that has been seamlessly woven throughout the entire Book - God's Story.  She makes what might seem like a daunting and difficult book to read come to life and make sense.  This is a great study for a brand new believer and even a seasoned Bible girl.
