trust and obey

Noah was obedient.  Immediately.  There is no mention of him questioning God's logic or coming up with an excuse as to why God chose the wrong guy.  He didn't try to persuade God not to go through with his plan to completely destroy the land and everything on it.  Instead, "Noah did everything just as God commanded him."

In the midst of a crazy world, where God found only one man who was walking in His Ways - where the earth was "full of violence" and the people "had corrupted their ways" and "the Lord was grieved that he had even made man" - Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

I am guessing that Noah's choice to walk with the Lord was a tough one - a daily struggle - but day after day after day, he chose God over the world.  Even when God asked him to do something absolutely crazy - Noah chose God.
The "Superheroes" in the Bible were regular people who had faith and acted in faith.
Noah believed God and said, "I will obey."
When God speaks big things, remember that people and Scripture can confirm God's Word.  God is not limited to where we are at this moment, which is both comforting and crazy!

Everyday God gives us an opportunity to believe - to have faith - to choose Him.  Even Jesus knows how hard this can be for us, and tells that in order to be his disciple, we will have to deny ourselves and our desires and our dreams.  But, it is so worth it!

So, I encourage you to step out of what's comfortable and into the big things - maybe crazy things - God has for you!
